from Pottstown Republican Herald Obits -- November 25, 2002 Phillip G. Dean Phillip G. Dean, 74, of Pearl City, Hawaii, formerly of Lost Creek, died Thursday. Born May 5, 1928, he was a son of the late Clarence and Margaret Dean, Lost Creek. He was a 1945 graduate of Shenandoah Catholic High School and a graduate of Loyola University, Baltimore, Md. He served in the Marine Corps for 20 years, with three tours of duty in Korea and four tours of duty in Vietnam. Surviving are his wife, Elaine; two daughters, Linda and Nacey, both of Pearl City; three brothers, Frank, Ohio, James, Shenandoah, and Jack, Maryland; five grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Interment will be in the Punch Bowl National Cemetery, Honolulu. Robert M. McDonald Funeral Home, Girardville, provided the information.
