| Pennsylvania Wills, 1682-1834 SMITH, JOHN. L. Chichester. January 20, 1784. May 26, 1784. To son John my plantation and tract of land purchased of William Henderson, together with lot of land bought of John Cloud containing 18 acres and 5 acres of woodland, paying to my estate £400 gold or silver. To daughter Sarah plantation, etc. which formerly belonged to Robert Moulder containing about 75 acres and 5 acres of woodland, etc. To daughter Elizabeth house and 2 lots of land containing about 4 acres, also £200, etc. To daughter Martha the easterly side of plantation bought of Isaac and Philip Roman, also £200, etc. Remainder to 3 daughters. Executors: Son John, brother-in-law Josiah Bunting. Letters to Bunting, the other being deceased. Codicil, same date, provides for wife Dorothy and gives son John his land, clear of any payment.
