Movie Recommendations Tools
In recent years I have relied on JustWatch to quickly see ratings and where to watch a movie. I used to use MovieLens (run by a university), and after trying it again I found it to be a much better predictor of movies I will actually enjoy.

Notes
MovieLens
MovieLens is excellent for personalized recommendations once enough ratings have been entered. Its recommendations consistently feel more aligned with my tastes than general audience scores.
JustWatch
JustWatch remains my go-to tool for quickly answering the question: “Where can I stream this right now?”
Metacritic
Metacritic is useful when I want to combine critic reviews with streaming availability.
IMDb
IMDb is still the best place for detailed movie information, cast lists, trivia, and production history.
